Welder/Machine Operator
About The Position
As a Machine Operator you will follow prints, work orders, and directions given from the management team to operate and maintain the machine area. Focus of the machine operator is to manufacture metal parts to meet the demand of the production schedule safely and efficiently. This role requires attention to safety, detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As for this role you are a Brand FX employee and may be asked to help out in other areas of the manufacturing process if schedule drives that demand.

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain the machine area.
- Manufacture metal parts to meet the demand of the production schedule safely and efficiently.
- Follow safety guidelines.
- Read a tape measure.
- Understand and follow drawings (Blueprints) and verify BOM.
- Work well with a team and by yourself.
- Be a motivated self-starter.
- Follow direction given.
- Be willing to learn new things.
- Multitask.
- Operate a Forklift, and Crane safely.
- Take pride in the machine you run, the area it is operated in and the company you work for.
- Be willing to learn and be familiar with the different types of metal materials.
- Help out in other areas of the manufacturing process if schedule drives that demand.
