About The Position

BHS Corrugated is seeking a skilled Machine Operator to support machining and production operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role requires hands-on experience with machining equipment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to maintain high quality and safety standards. This is not a basic operator position — we are looking for someone comfortable working with precision equipment, performing inspections, and supporting overall equipment reliability.

Requirements

2+ years of machining or manufacturing experience
Experience operating lathes and grinding equipment
Strong understanding of precision measurement tools
Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
Comfortable working independently in a production environment
Willingness to work flexible shifts, weekends, and as needed for urgent support

Nice To Haves

Experience with SAP and production systems
Forklift experience
MIG/TIG welding experience

Responsibilities

Operate machining equipment including flute grinders, OD grinders, and lathes
Perform precision measurements and quality inspections using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
Document production activity and enter data into SAP and shop floor systems
Perform preventative maintenance and support equipment reliability
Respond to unplanned downtime and troubleshooting needs
Maintain 5S workplace standards and promote safe work practices
Assist in training operators and supporting team development
