About The Position

Incom is hiring an entry-level Machine Operator for its first shift. The role involves setting up and operating manufacturing machinery, checking product quality with precision measuring instruments, and working with engineering on new product development and troubleshooting. The position is in a clean, high-tech manufacturing environment and includes hands-on training. New hires are initially placed with CoWorx Staffing Agency for a minimum of three months before hire by Incom. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.; candidates must train on that schedule for 4–6 weeks. The typical starting rate is $20.00 per hour, with a stated range of $20.00–$21.36 per hour based on experience.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Mechanical aptitude.
Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
English speaking, comprehension, reading, and writing proficiency sufficient to perform job duties effectively.
Reliable transportation and ability to work the assigned shift.
Must pass a background check and a 9-panel drug test.
Must be available to train on first shift, Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for 4–6 weeks.

Nice To Haves

At least one year of machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment; experience is a plus but not required, and motivated candidates will be trained.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate cutting, forming, grinding, and polishing machines.
Use precision measuring instruments, including calipers and micrometers, to ensure product quality.
Work with engineering to assist with new product development and troubleshooting.
Read and interpret blueprints and routing sheets to complete tasks accurately.
Follow safety regulations and use required protective equipment.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
