Requirements

  • Experience operating equipment
  • Experience with operating hand held tools
  • Experience with operating small power tools
  • Ability to learn how to properly handle an overhead crane safely
  • Ability to read simple engineering drawings
  • Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
  • H.S. Diploma or equivalent
  • Pre-employment drug test, background check, and physical as applicable for the position.

Responsibilities

  • Shape - Set up, load and operate equipment to plane, cut and shape media
  • Use gauges and other tools to qualify product conformance to quality specifications
  • Perform random test to ensure accuracy
  • Complete quality traveler documentation
  • Troubleshoot equipment and small tools, and make adjustments as required to maintain quality standards and process conditions.
  • Clean and maintain work area
  • Additional tasks as assigned by a team lead or supervisor
  • Maintain ISO-9001 Standards
  • Perform all duties in a safe manner, support all safety and environmental rules and environmental initiatives
  • Participate in Lean initiatives to provide ongoing continuous improvement ideas for products, processes, and procedures
  • Assist and train other employees when necessary
