The Associate II, Assembly plays a key role in the manufacturing process of Cardinal Health medical products. This role operates multiple machines at once and performs routine inspections of manufactured products in accordance with quality specifications. The Associate II, Assembly reports defects and works with the quality team to investigate and identify root causes. This position ensures that manufactured parts are captured in bins and prepared for transport. All tasks are performed in accordance with applicable safety guidelines and appropriate processing standards. The Assembly function at Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities, including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. This role involves a variety of tasks, from repetitive to non-repetitive production, to assemble component parts into assemblies, sub-assemblies, or completed units, following standard operating procedures. Quality inspections on the processing line may also be conducted.
