About The Position

Bosch is hiring a Machine Operator for its Lincolnton, North Carolina Conversion, Customizing and Packaging Center. The facility is approximately 30 miles from Charlotte and operates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Machine Operators perform machine operations and may work second shift, 2:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, or third shift, 10:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Monday through Friday. The role requires operating and setting up machines, checking products against prints, following operating and cleanliness procedures, and troubleshooting common machine problems. Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Three to five years of previous experience in brazing processes or similar.
• Computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent spoken, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to learn and understand new processes, machines, and technology.
• Flexibility to work different shifts and overtime.
• Ability to stand and remain mobile for eight hours.
• Proper hand dexterity.
• Ability to read and follow instructions.
• Math skills appropriate to a machining environment.
• Proficiency in the use of measuring devices.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Set up machines using basic hand tools and measuring devices.
• Read product prints and check products to ensure they match.
• Use measuring devices to inspect product.
• Identify, assess, and troubleshoot common machine problems.
• Read and follow standard operating procedures.
• Follow procedures for machine cleanliness and tool organization.
• Read and prepare orders.
