About The Position

Parker Hannifin Autoclave is seeking a first-shift Machine Operator in Erie, Pennsylvania. The role operates CNC equipment, including lathes and mills, to make parts from engineering prints. The operator loads programs, follows setup sheets, performs basic setups and machine operations, and inspects parts for accuracy and finish. The position also includes maintaining equipment and keeping the work area clean, along with other duties requested by management.

The position is subject to applicable U.S. export-compliance and U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements. Applicants are subject to drug testing as a condition of employment. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to use measuring tools and instruments.
• Basic knowledge of CNC machine techniques.
• Ability to operate multiple machines.
• Ability to perform manual math calculations.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to perform job duties with supervision.
• Meet applicable U.S. export-compliance and/or U.S. Government contracting citizenship eligibility requirements.

• Tooling and precision machining experience.
• Ability to read and understand complex drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC equipment, including lathes and mills.
• Read prints and make parts to specification.
• Load programs and follow setup sheets.
• Review engineering drawings to identify required tooling.
• Perform basic machine setups and machine operation.
• Inspect each part against drawings to ensure accuracy and finish.
• Maintain equipment and clean the work area.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
