About The Position

CaptiveAire is hiring Press Brake/Shear Operators at its West Union, Iowa manufacturing facility. The role is in a fast-paced, financially sound, climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Operators perform work to safety and quality standards, contribute to a positive workplace, produce neat and repeatable work, and keep their work area clean, safe, and in working order.

The schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime Monday through Thursday until 4:30 p.m. when production demands require it. Competitive wages are based on experience, and a monthly bonus is based on performance and productivity. A satisfactory background check and negative drug screen are required. The position is safety-sensitive.

Requirements

• Experience operating a CNC press brake or shear.
• Ability to lift 40 or more pounds independently.
• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to use power and hand tools.
• Proficiency in English.
• Graduation from a standard high school, vocational school, or equivalent.
• Satisfactory background check and negative drug screen required.
