About The Position
Best Block is seeking a Machine Operator to safely operate and maintain a sophisticated computerized manufacturing machine. The role includes setting up, cleaning, and maintaining machinery; using equipment and tools to meet manufacturing specifications; taking measurements to monitor the process and ensure quality production; operating a forklift; and reporting needed information to the Plant Manager. An offer may be contingent upon passing a drug test and physical exam.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, power, transmission, pneumatic, and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and maintain a sophisticated computerized manufacturing machine.
- Report all needed information to the Plant Manager.
- Use equipment and tools according to manufacturing specifications.
- Take measurements to monitor the process and ensure quality production.
- Perform machine maintenance and setup.
- Clean machinery.
- Operate a forklift.
