About The Position

The primary purpose of the Saturation Technician position is to deliver specified production and quality goals by performing the setup, assembly, troubleshooting/repair of assigned equipment, and in process inspections of saturated products produced in the nonwoven saturation area.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Move and traverse.
• Operate, activate, use, inspect, communicate, identify, and observe.
• Occasionally be in a stationary position, stoop or access low lying parts of the machine.
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

• Communicates quality and production goals to Saturation Operators
• Performs daily troubleshooting and repairs on assigned equipment (Elsner, Hal 1, Hal 2, ABL, Quarter Folding Machine)
• Documents work according to the IFS system and reporting requirements
• Reads and interprets EDS's, Control Plans, and Work Orders as necessary to complete production.
• Performs equipment setup and material changeover.
• Performs of in-process inspections as required by the Control Plans.
• Packages products to IFS specifications
• Others may be assigned
