About The Position

Seaway Printing is a world-class producer of specialty printed and bound products based in De Pere, Wisconsin. We specialize in producing publications, magazines, books, booklets, journals, and manuals. We offer a competitive benefits package, on-the-job training, and a modern, climate-controlled workspace. This role involves performing machine setup, troubleshooting, and operation with an emphasis on productivity, quality, safety, and good housekeeping. The work hours are 1st Shift, Monday to Friday, 6 am to 2 pm, including every other Saturday.

Requirements

Ability to do basic troubleshooting when a piece of equipment or machinery is not functioning
Interpret and follow directions with precision
Basic computer skills for job detail input and machine operation
Excellent collaborative skills
Frequently required to talk or hear
Constantly required to stand; walk; and use hands to handle, feel or touch
Occasionally required to sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; use foot/feet to operate equipment
Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
Constantly lift to 10 pounds
Constantly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
Occasionally move pallets of material with pallet mover

Nice To Haves

Manufacturing environment experience preferred
Prior bindery experience preferred
3+ months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Set up, make ready, and operate equipment
Perform quality checks and stack finished product
Record production data with accuracy
Troubleshoot and perform minor mechanical maintenance
Identify operational improvements as needed
Run equipment at optimal level at all times to meet daily production goals (OEE and OTD)
Maintain work area and tools
Adhere to work quality standards, standard of work, and safety standards
