Machine Operator (Slitter Operator) – Bolingbrook Facility – Build Your Skills. Build Your Future. At Duraco FlexPack a division of Duraco Specialty Materials, our Slitter Operators at our Bolingbrook facility help create the high-quality products our customers depend on every day. You’ll operate slitting equipment used to process coated rolls of paper, film, and foil into finished products that meet customer specifications. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with machine operator experience who takes pride in quality, accuracy, and safety. This role is a strong fit for someone with machine operator experience, attention to detail, and comfort working with measurements and production equipment. Forklift experience is a plus, but not required. You’ll work closely with teammates, communicate issues when they come up, and help maintain a safe, organized work area.

Requirements

Machine operator experience in a manufacturing or production environment is recommended.
Ability to read a tape measure, follow work orders, and work accurately with measurements and safety procedures.
Team-first mindset, strong communication, and a willingness to learn and grow.
Attention to detail, reliability, and pride in doing quality work.
Comfort with physical, hands-on work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Forklift experience is a plus

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and adjust slitting machines to meet customer requirements and ensure accurate, high-quality output.
Prepare materials and perform quality checks, including loading rolls, measuring with a tape measure, and inspecting products.
Support smooth production flow by troubleshooting issues, recording production data, and keeping your work area safe and clean.
