MACHINE OPERATOR - PLATING 1st shift days

About The Position

This role is actively involved in all duties for procedures related to plating processing a variety of circuit boards to obtain multiple finishes for electrical conductivity. The first shift runs from 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. Some overtime will be available during the week with occasional half days on Saturdays.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma is required.
  • Standing for long periods of time is required.
  • Exertion of up to 50 lbs. of force occasionally may be required.
  • Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment such as computer terminals, calculator, copiers, and FAX machines.
  • Use of plating thickness instruments including microscope, fixture and hand tools so good vision and dexterity required.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare tanks by removing residue, checking anodes and making necessary additions.
  • Setting proper temperatures and cycle times.
  • Prepare the surface of the board through various cleaning processes.
  • Verify quality requirements to finished product.
  • Operator may be trained on the following processes as deemed necessary: Black Oxide, Deburr, Desmear/Electroless Copper, Pattern Plating, Nickel/Gold, Black Hole, Etchers, Silver and Resist Strip.
