About The Position

This role involves the setup, adjustment, and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications. The Machine Operator will support the acquisition of operation plans and carry out the processing of manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing. Responsibilities also include performing cleaning, servicing, and routine maintenance on machines, monitoring machine operation, identifying and troubleshooting problems, and administering operational processes with accurate record-keeping.

Requirements

• Ability to assist in setup, adjustment, and operation of machinery
• Understanding of operation plans and batch processing
• Skills in mechanical processing
• Capability to perform cleaning, servicing, and routine maintenance
• Ability to monitor machines during operation
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for machine issues
• Proficiency in administering operational processes
• Accuracy in record-keeping of machine performance

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the setup, adjustment and operation of machinery to produce goods or parts according to specifications
• Supporting the acquisition of operation plans and carrying out the processing of manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients, including mechanical processing as required
• Performing cleaning, servicing and routine maintenance on machines to ensure they remain in good working order
• Supporting the monitoring of machines during operation to ensure they are functioning properly and carrying out repairs as needed
• Identifying problems (causes) that occur with machines and supporting the optimization of processes for troubleshooting
• Administering operational processes and keeping accurate records of machine performance
