About The Position

EMS, Thin Metal Parts is seeking a detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team! This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals looking to develop their skills. Additionally, we offer a 10% shift premium for hours worked on 3rd shift. The role involves preparing and processing electroplating equipment to produce parts for customers.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Demonstrable basic PC skills.
Able to read blueprints/drawings.
Ability to follow run sheets and enter data where applicable.
Ability to multi-task (work in different areas of building on different products simultaneously)
Fluent in English, written and verbal skills.
Ability to troubleshoot.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

Experience with chemicals and knowledge of safety protocols preferred.
Some heavy lifting may be required.

Responsibilities

Operate cleaning and plating processes.
Process parts through the appropriate chemical baths, following run sheets.
Perform chemical additions as specified by lab.
Use a micrometer to measure parts, perform calculations and adjust process parameters.
In-process inspection of parts using naked eye and magnification.
Transfer of chemicals to and from electroforming/photo areas.
General maintenance of equipment and housecleaning of all areas.
Other duties as assigned.
