About The Position

The Alltra machine operator operates and monitors an Alltra cutting machine to cut steel according to customer specifications and production requirements. The role requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to produce quality parts while maintaining efficient production. The operator loads and unloads steel plates and materials using appropriate material-handling equipment, verifies material dimensions, thickness, and quality before and after cutting, maintains accurate production records, completes required documentation, and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, measurements, and basic blueprints.
• Basic math skills, including reading a tape measure and understanding dimensions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Previous manufacturing, machine operation, or metal fabrication experience preferred.
