Requirements
- Mechanically inclined, production-oriented and safety and quality conscious.
- Basic math skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work under general supervision.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to inspect material for quality conformance through the use of measuring devices and drawings.
Nice To Haves
- High School or GED equivalent preferred.
- Working knowledge of general computer programs preferred.
- Previous experience with precision instruments preferred.
Responsibilities
- Uses cutting equipment to cut, shape, and remove metal components.
- Reads blueprints.
- Sets up and maintains cutting tools.
- Ensures precise, safe operation while working with high-temperature flames and pressurized gases.
- Works efficiently on production in a fabrication environment.
