Machine Operator – Manual Bar Lathe & Finishing Processes |Cedar Rapids|HIRING IMMEDIATELY Available shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm / Climate Controlled Looking for an individual for our Machine Operator – Manual Bar Lathe & Finishing Processes position. This person will operate a manual bar lathe to machine parts. The person will also be responsible for completing many parts finishing processes including heat treating, passivation, and electropolishing.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of machining experience.
- Experience reading engineering blueprints/drawings.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with heat treating, passivation and electropolish processes is a plus
Responsibilities
- Operate a manual bar lathe to machine parts.
- Operate heat treat oven to heat treat parts as required.
- Operate the passivation & wash tanks to treat parts as required.
- Operate the electropolish tank to electropolish parts as required.
