About The Position

Responsible for maintenance, care and upkeep for all Grounds and related equipment throughout the District. This role involves managing equipment and personnel, daily operation and maintenance of assigned machinery or vehicles, and adhering to safety regulations. The position also includes tasks such as aerating, fertilizing, performing weekly site maintenance (mowing, weeding, edging, cleanup), maintaining knowledge of irrigation systems, and assisting with landscape construction and repair, including fences. Availability for after-hours snow removal and sweeping is also required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
One (1) year experience in operation of equipment related to job description.
Must have phone for emergency contact.
Must meet insurability requirements of the Colorado School District Self Insurance Pool.
Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
Valid Colorado driver’s license.
Must have or obtain CDL Class A within six (6) months of employment.
