The Machining Center Operator is responsible for the safe operation, set-up, and routine maintenance of CNC vertical, horizontal, and multi-axis machining centers (Haas, Toyoda, Wele, Mazak). The Operator sets up vises, fixtures, and tooling; loads steel components onto machine tables; and executes pre-programmed machining center operations including milling, drilling, tapping, and boring. The operator monitors machine performance throughout the production process, making adjustments as needed to ensure parts are manufactured accurately and efficiently according to specifications. The operator is responsible for performing in-process and final quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and go/no-go gauges to verify conformance to engineering drawings and quality requirements. Successful candidates are detail-oriented, safety-focused, and committed to maintaining efficient production while delivering high-quality products.
