Machine Operator-Light Assembly/Packout (3rd Shift)
About The Position
Aladdin Temp-Rite is seeking career-minded Light Assembly/Packout associates for its Hendersonville, Tennessee location. The company manufactures healthcare foodservice products used in hospitals and other healthcare facilities. Associates clear molded parts from machines, perform light assembly and packaging tasks, inspect parts, and maintain their work areas. The role offers training with different tools and machines and opportunities to advance into roles such as Mold Setter, Process Technician, or Maintenance Technician. Requirements
- Enjoy working with hands around industrial machines.
- Ability to follow written or verbal instructions and complete repetitive operations.
- Ability to work with continuous exposure to noise and occasional lifting.
Responsibilities
- Clear molded parts from machines; stack, box, trim, and label parts; and record machine counts.
- Perform light assembly operations to produce sub-assemblies or assemblies using molded plastic and other parts.
- Regrind defective parts or runners, keeping reground material separate by color and material type.
- Perform simple gauging and visual inspections of molded parts to ensure quality.
- Report difficulties to a Supervisor or Group Leader.
- Follow safety rules and regulations and maintain housekeeping in the work area and department.
- Verify carton counts and calculate skid counts.
- Prepare material requisitions for sub-assembly materials when requested by supervision.
