About The Position

We are seeking a reliable and quality-focused Machine Operator (Lamination) to join a flexible packaging manufacturing team. The operator sets up, operates, and monitors lamination equipment to produce laminated film that meets production, quality, and food safety standards. The role helps ensure proper adhesion and film integrity, while complying with safety, GMP, and SQF requirements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Ability to read a measuring tape.
• Ability to read, write, and follow simple, clear instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to make machine adjustments as needed.
• Ability to monitor equipment and proactively identify quality or production issues.
• Ability to exert 20–50 lbs. occasionally, 10–25 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust lamination equipment to meet production and quality standards.
• Load, unload, and stage film, adhesive rolls, and other materials.
• Monitor adhesive application, film tension, and machine performance during production.
• Perform quality checks, including measurements, coat weight, and mix ratio verification.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and computer logs.
• Identify and properly dispose of contaminated adhesives or solvents according to documented procedures.
• Handle hazardous and universal waste and complete required Haz-Mat training.
• Follow GMP, SQF, OSHA, PPE, and food safety requirements.
• Perform routine cleaning, inspections, and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
