About The Position

Flexcon is hiring Machine Operators for its Columbus, Nebraska plant. The role performs tasks supporting production operations and applies job skills, company policies, and procedures to assigned work. Operators work on moderately scoped problems, using judgment within defined procedures and practices, and build productive internal and external working relationships. The position requires learning and following standardized work and contributing to a safe, quality-driven culture. The schedule is Friday through Sunday, 5:55 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and includes a 15% shift differential.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn the ERP system.
Ability to read and follow written work instructions.
Basic math skills and ability to read a ruler and tape measure to measure fractions of an inch.
High attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Commitment to high safety standards and willingness and ability to comply with environmental and safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
