About The Position

This is a full-time Machine Operator II position in a food manufacturing environment, working the first shift. The role supports production of the company’s food products and offers opportunities for advancement. Starting pay is $21.50 per hour, with a $1.50 shift differential for hours worked from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The operator prepares and runs production equipment, manages line speeds and batch production rates, starts and stops equipment, and supports product quality and safety. The role also includes completing required production paperwork and conducting quality checks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• At least 1 year of experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and bend, carry, push, pull, and perform other activities as needed.
• Ability to stand and walk on concrete and work in cold and/or hot temperatures.
• Availability for overtime or weekends based on plant scheduling needs.

Nice To Haves

• Manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pre-run equipment to ensure proper production start-up.
• Control line speeds and batch formula production rates; start and stop equipment.
• Support overall product quality and safety.
• Perform various quality checks.
• Complete required paperwork, including downtime and HACCP documentation, and use SAP SOPs and safety operation training as appropriate.
