About The Position

The Machine Operator II is responsible for setting up, calibrating, and operating machinery used in production processes. The role helps ensure equipment functions correctly and efficiently, supporting precise manufacturing operations and production standards. The position is based onsite in Santa Isabel, Puerto Rico. Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico when employment begins; relocation is not offered. U.S. citizenship is required because only U.S. citizens may access information under the program or contract. No security clearance is required.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) or vocational/technical education in a related discipline.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Professional or educational experience communicating in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.
U.S. citizenship.
Ability to accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods, and successful completion of a post-offer vision examination.

Responsibilities

Work from verbal or written instructions, diagrams, or models.
Inspect machining operations and finished products against specified tolerances using precision measuring tools.
Perform routine maintenance and cleaning.
Set up and operate production machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Use computer-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines.
Control and adjust machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
May perform calculations and assist with numeric-controlled programming.
Accurately see, read, and interpret information on screens and materials for extended periods; successfully complete a post-offer vision examination.
