About The Position

Phillips Manufacturing is a well-established, Omaha-based manufacturer with over 65 years of providing quality products to its clients. They are a one-stop shop for drywall finishing accessories, lath, stucco accessories, metal channels, interior framing, and fire-rated assemblies with facilities around the country. A Machine Operator operates a machine maintaining continuity of operation at maximum production consistent with proper safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to lift up to 55lbs continuously throughout shift.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug testing, background, and physical capacity screenings.

Nice To Haves

  • Fast-paced environment experience.
  • Ability to walk, stand, bend, and twist for long periods of time.
  • Ability to perform repetitive movements.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a machine maintaining continuity of operation at maximum production consistent with proper safety and quality requirements.
  • Inspect, Prepare, Adjust, and perform Minor Repair of Machine.
  • Meet Product Specifications by taking and reading measurements.
  • Utilize moderate computer skills for scanning, labels, etc.
  • Produce legible and accurate production reports.
  • Place finished cartons/bundles in proper holding carts.
  • Adhere to Attendance Policy.
  • Abide by all Safety Protocol.
