About The Position

Phillips Manufacturing is a well-established, Omaha-based manufacturer with over 65 years of providing quality products to our clients. We are the one-stop shop for drywall finishing accessories, lath, stucco accessories, metal channels, interior framing, and fire-rated assemblies with facilities around the country. A Machine Operator operates a machine maintaining continuity of operation at maximum production consistent with proper safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work 1st shift hours (6:00 AM-4:30 PM, four 10-hour days) for up to 60 days for onboarding and training.
  • Availability for both schedules is required.
  • Ability to lift up to 55lbs continuously throughout shift.
  • Walk, stand, bend, and twist for long periods of time.
  • Repetitive Movement.
  • Pass a pre-employment drug testing, background, and physical capacity screenings.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, Prepare, Adjust, Minor Repair of Machine.
  • Meet Product Specifications: Taking & Reading Measurements.
  • Moderate Computer Skills Required (Scanning, Labels, etc.).
  • Produce Legible & Accurate Production Reports.
  • Place Finished Cartons/Bundles in Proper Holding Carts.
  • Ensure to adhere to Attendance Policy.
  • Abide by all Safety Protocol.
