About The Position

Under direct supervision, the Machine Operator I operates automated manufacturing equipment for Jabil-manufactured assemblies. The role involves routine equipment setup, operation, and adjustment; preparing and maintaining machine components and materials; monitoring production and rejects; and keeping the work area, equipment, and documentation in order. The operator may also perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting.

The hourly pay range is $14.86–$26.73. The actual offered rate may depend on qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and internal equity. The anticipated requisition close date is October 23, 2026. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Six months to one year of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine equipment setup, operation, and adjustment.
• Coordinate with other team members to set up machines according to setup sheets.
• Keep the board loader and feeders supplied with the correct parts, and load feeders for the next production run in advance.
• Maintain and load the solder screen printer; operate the LSM machine to check solder paste applied to boards; and enter data into the CIQ system.
• Maintain an orderly work area by tubing fallout parts and cleaning the area and machines as needed.
• Monitor machine rejects to ensure parts are sorted and run daily.
• Maintain necessary documentation.
• Perform basic quality auditing, testing, and troubleshooting functions as needed.
• Keep the assigned area clean and organized.
• Follow work direction communicated verbally or through visual aids and setup sheets.
• Follow applicable safety and health rules and regulations, as well as company security procedures.
