About The Position

A Machine Operator at D&H Industries utilizes robots or other assist devices to produce parts and uses measurement tools to perform quality checks. This is a 2nd Shift position, Monday through Thursday, 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., 10-hour-shifts AND Friday 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., 8-hour-shift. There is a $3.00/hour premium for working 2nd Shift. D&H Industries is open to train a person with the right character and no experience, encouraging individuals to give manufacturing a try.

Requirements

• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Ability to read measurements in metric and traditional scale or the ability to learn how to measure.
• Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to stand up to 10 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Nice To Haves

• No experience necessary; training is provided for individuals with the right character.

Responsibilities

• Use work instructions to produce parts.
• Inspect parts to ensure customer specifications are met.
• Perform basic measurements using quality measurement equipment and documenting results.
• Utilize the robot interface to set up, adjust, and operate the robot system.
• May be assigned to work in other areas of the production floor as needed to meet production deadlines.
