About The Position

Phillips Manufacturing is a well-established, Tampa-based manufacturer with over 65 years of providing quality products to our clients. We are a one-stop shop for drywall finishing accessories, lath, stucco accessories, metal channels, interior framing, and fire-rated assemblies with facilities around the country. A Machine Operator operates a machine maintaining continuity of operation at maximum production consistent with proper safety and quality requirements.

Requirements

Moderate computer skills (scanning, labels, etc.).
Ability to lift up to 55lbs continuously throughout shift.
Ability to walk, stand, bend, and twist for long periods of time.
Ability to perform repetitive movements.
Adherence to Attendance Policy.
Adherence to all Safety Protocols.
Pass a pre-employment drug testing, background, and physical capacity screenings.

Responsibilities

Operate a machine maintaining continuity of operation at maximum production consistent with proper safety and quality requirements.
Inspect, Prepare, Adjust, and perform Minor Repair of Machine.
Meet Product Specifications by taking and reading measurements.
Utilize moderate computer skills for tasks such as scanning and label generation.
Produce legible and accurate production reports.
Place finished cartons/bundles in proper holding carts.
Walk, stand, bend, and twist for long periods of time, performing repetitive movements.
Lift up to 55lbs continuously throughout the shift.
Adhere to the Attendance Policy.
Abide by all Safety Protocols.
