About The Position

Spartan Emergency Response (Spartan ER), part of Terex Corporation, designs, manufactures, and distributes custom emergency response vehicles, cabs, and chassis. The Machine Operator safely operates production machinery, works with engineering to program and set up machines, and loads and runs parts while monitoring equipment for malfunctions. The role also includes keeping current with total productive maintenance (TPM) and making basic mechanical adjustments as needed. The position involves working in non-temperature-controlled environments and meeting the physical demands described in the posting.

Requirements

Preferred 1–2 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment, including a press brake.
Preferred high school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
Ability to use common hand tools and power tools, such as drills and screw guns.
Ability to communicate professionally and follow directions.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Successful completion of drug and background screening.
Ability to regularly lift and move 40 lbs. without assistance.
Ability to work with arms above head and frequently bend, stoop, squat, and climb ladders and scaffolding.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of experience operating manufacturing equipment, including a press brake.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Safely operate production machinery.
Read and interpret detailed drawings and dimension styles.
Interface with engineering to program machines, set up equipment, and run machines.
Load parts into machines, cycle the machines, and detect operating malfunctions.
Stay current with TPM and make basic mechanical adjustments to equipment as needed.
Operate and understand the operation of protective safety equipment in the work area.
