About The Position

This position is ideal for operators who already have manufacturing experience or a technical skill set and want stable weekday schedules, a hands-on role working with innovative production equipment, opportunities to expand technical skills and advance into higher-level roles, and long-term stability at a growing, high-volume manufacturing facility. Our Greer facility is expanding capacity and investing in equipment. We're looking for operators who can step in, learn our processes quickly, and contribute consistently. As a Machine Operator, you'll support the production of weatherstripping used by customers worldwide. This role goes beyond button-pushing and is well-suited for mechanically inclined operators.
Requirements
- Prior machine operation or manufacturing experience preferred
- Mechanical aptitude or technical skill set strongly desired
- Ability to read work instructions, measurements, and production documentation
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and quality
- Reliable attendance and the ability to work independently once trained.
Responsibilities
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot production equipment
- Load raw materials and remove finished products
- Make simple machine adjustments as needed before moving to setups, basic changeovers, and machine adjustments
- Monitor quality standards and maintain specifications
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Accurately record production data and communicate issues as they arise
- Collaborate with technicians and supervisors to support continuous improvement
