About The Position

As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for a variety of machine-specific functions. This includes identifying, confirming, and prioritizing work, setting up machinery, performing tool changes and changeovers, loading programs/inputs, performing daily preventative maintenance, using proper tools, bunching, labeling, and staging parts, practicing exceptional housekeeping, and understanding lock-out/tag-out procedures.

Requirements

• Blueprint reading skills
• The ability to understand and convert decimals and fractions
• Detailed oriented
• Computer skill
• Good communication skills

Nice To Haves

• Machine operator experience is preferred
• Forklift experience preferred (will certify in-house)

Responsibilities

• Identify, confirm, and prioritize work to be performed
• Set up machinery and perform tool changes as needed
• Ability to perform changeovers
• Load programs/inputs into the machine control
• Perform daily PMs on machinery and equipment used
• Use proper tools on the machine
• Bunch, label, and stage parts for the next manufacturing process
• Perform and record daily preventative maintenance on machines
• Practice exceptional housekeeping
• Understand lock out, tag out
