About The Position

The Range Utility will perform various jobs including Assistant Range Operator on the Range (Entry & Exit), and Carmelizer Operator and Packer IV on the Carmelizer. This role is responsible for producing quality fabric, recognizing and correcting unacceptable quality, and ensuring a safe and organized work environment. The position also involves assisting maintenance with repairs, participating in Lean initiatives, and performing daily hoist inspections. Responsibilities

Perform work safely
Follow all job procedures
Run another job if someone is out or production requirements make necessary
Leave job in proper order for incoming shift
Assist Maintenance as needed to be sure breakdowns are repaired as quickly as possible
Perform 5S activities to maintain a safe, organized work environment
Participate in Lean initiatives including, but not limited to, QDIP boards and Kaizan events
Inspect the hoist (using checklist) at the beginning of each shift
Perform Fabric Test
Communicate Instructions to responsible Associates
