About The Position

EJ has immediate openings for a 3rd Shift Finishing Utility position. This role involves the production of castings from a molded to finished product for use by the end user. EJ is a leader in the design, manufacture, and distribution of access solutions for water, sewer, drainage, telecommunications, and utility networks. Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
One to three months related experience and/or training.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to read two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
Ability to print and speak simple sentences in English.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
Fork Truck Drivers License
Must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to successfully pass the respirator testing protocol and wear a respirator as needed.

Responsibilities

Uses power and/or hand tools that may include air grinder, overhead air hoist, chipping hammer, punch, and screwdriver.
May drive industrial equipment to move materials.
Uses computer to obtain and/or input information.
May aid in training of others.
Provides suggestions for improvement of all our systems.
Load and process castings on automated equipment.
