About The Position

Position requires standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs. This is a 2nd shift only position. The role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), which requires the incumbent to be either a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status.

Requirements

• Three years of experience with centerless grinders and cylindrical grinders.
• Basic grinding skills required to set-up and run multiple cylindrical parts.
• Knowledge of grinding wheels and wheel dressing.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Familiar with precision gauging of aerospace parts.
• Possess mechanical skills.
• Basic shop mathematics skills working with decimals to .0001”.
• Results-oriented, motivated.
• Some exposure to an industrial environment.
• Able to stand, walk for long periods and lift heavy gages.
• Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status.

• Knowledge of working with metals helpful.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks requiring standing for long periods of time.
