About The Position

This position requires standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 50 lbs. It is a 2nd shift only position. The company is Industrial Tectonics Bearings, an equal opportunity employer. Requirements

• Three years of experience with centerless grinders and cylindrical grinders.
• Basic grinding skills required to set-up and run multiple cylindrical parts.
• Knowledge of grinding wheels and wheel dressing.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Familiarity with precision gauging of aerospace parts.
• Possess mechanical skills.
• Basic shop mathematics skills working with decimals to .0001”.
• Results-oriented and motivated.
• Ability to deal with changing priorities.
• Some exposure to an industrial environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
• Ability to lift heavy gages.
• Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident [“green card” holders] or have refugee or asylee status due to ITAR and EAR regulations.

• Knowledge of working with metals helpful.

Responsibilities

• Set-up and run multiple cylindrical parts using basic grinding skills.
• Operate centerless grinders and cylindrical grinders.
