About The Position

Eads Cooling Solutions is seeking an experienced Machine Operator to join their team. This role involves operating various machinery such as chop/band saws, drill presses, plasma machines, stamping machines, and shear/brake equipment. The operator will also manage computer consoles for time and attendance, use measuring devices to ensure material requirements are met, and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

1-2 years’ experience in assembly in a manufacturing environment
Aptitude of mechanics
Self-motivated
Detail oriented
Ability to work in a team atmosphere
Ability to climb, stoop, kneel, and crouch
Excellent hand-eye coordination
Work safely and look out for the safety of the team
Keep a clean and hazard free workspace
Identify any defective items and handle them accordingly
Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including standing for long periods
Ability to lift up to 35lbs

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Studies blueprints, work orders, or schematics to plan and carry out tasks
Assists in the setup of essential equipment
Operates equipment necessary for production order fulfillment
Advises manager/supervisor of production status.
Ensures components are made accurately.
Review production order requirements to determine accuracy, method, materials, and equipment needed to complete each project
Assist team with complex assembly projects
Train new machine operators
Operates essential equipment
Other duties as assigned/directed by manager or supervisor
