About The Position

The Machine Operator C is responsible for inspecting and packing quality products safely, efficiently, and in accordance with quality standards. The role involves operating machines, supplying materials, packaging and labeling finished goods, recording production information, performing quality checks and changeovers, and maintaining a clean work area. The operator follows applicable procedures, work instructions, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and the Master Cleaning Schedule.

Responsibilities

Respond to and operate machines.
Identify serious problems for maintenance.
Assemble and pack boxes using lightweight packaging components, including lids and tubs.
Place boxes of finished goods on skids approximately 24 times per hour.
On occasion, lift cases weighing up to 30 pounds to a height of 6 feet to place them on skids, up to approximately 6 times per hour.
Push boxes into the case sealer.
Deliver materials to machines, including inserts, film, color, and resin.
Inspect products according to quality standards and pack boxes.
Apply proper labels and identification codes to product boxes.
Complete traceability forms, record production data, enter data into a computer, and verify labels and production information.
Perform online quality checks.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Perform changeovers (c/o) in a timely manner, following procedures and work instructions.
Follow procedures and guidelines defined by Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and the Master Cleaning Schedule.
