About The Position

Operate automatic metal stamping equipment to produce high-quality stamped metal components in a fast-paced production environment. The role includes loading steel coils, performing coil changes, monitoring equipment, troubleshooting basic production issues, inspecting products, and recording production information. The operator is also responsible for maintaining an organized and safe work area and following quality, safety, SPC, and 5S procedures.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and strong attention to detail.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to use gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
• Safety-focused mindset.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with transfer dies or transfer systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate metal stamping presses, transfer systems, and feed lines.
• Load steel coils and perform coil changes using overhead cranes.
• Monitor equipment and troubleshoot basic production issues.
• Conduct visual and manual quality inspections.
• Record production and downtime in the MRP system.
• Ensure proper labeling of finished products.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all quality, safety, SPC, and 5S procedures.
