About The Position

Machine Operator 3 performs operational work involving the receipt, shipment, storage, distribution, or delivery of products, parts, and materials. The role loads, unloads, moves, or stores items according to delivery or routing documents or supervisor instructions and operates heavy equipment. The operator is assigned one machine and must operate consistently at or above target production levels. Responsibilities

• Operate one assigned machine: forklift, knuckle-boom, runaround, wood boiler support, Prentice support, endplate station support, or trimmer support.
• Operate consistently at or above target production levels.
• Complete daily inspection and maintenance reports for the assigned machine and identify operational issues.
• Perform daily maintenance on the assigned machine.
• Take initiative to assist supervisors in ensuring procedures are followed correctly.
• Participate in and contribute to the company safety program.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
