About The Position

The Machine Operator - 2nd Shift position is a full-time, hourly role with a pay rate of $20.98 - $21.28 per hour. This role is based in Murfreesboro, TN, and operates from 3pm to 11:00pm. The position involves working in a heavy, industrial environment and requires adherence to all safety rules and regulations. Responsibilities include operating power industrial trucks, moving or lifting heavy objects, maintaining production records, examining products, cleaning work areas and equipment, adjusting machinery, monitoring equipment operation, sorting materials, loading/unloading/stacking items, measuring/weighing/counting products, performing safety inspections, and signaling to coworkers. The role also requires availability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime. Successful completion of pre-employment screenings is mandatory.

Requirements

• Ability to read and perform tape measurements
• Good attendance record
• Ability and aptitude to progress to the top job in each department line of progression
• Successfully complete pre-employment screenings including an Assessment test (if applicable), background investigation, drug screen, reference checks, employment and education verifications, and the requirements of the Immigration Reform Act.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Previous Industrial/ Manufacturing or other labor-intensive work experience is preferred
