Responsibilities

Operate machines to cut, punch, bend, weld, or shape materials into specified components.
Set up machines and confirm specifications using drawings, blueprints, tablets, or other tools.
Safely use lifting devices, such as cranes and forklifts, to position materials or parts.
Perform inspections before, during, and after production using measuring tools and processes to ensure materials meet exact specifications.
Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
Keep track of material inventory, perform machine maintenance, and support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.
