About The Position

This is an AWW2 position: Friday-Sunday 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The Machine Operator 1 will operate a variety of production machines, performing routine operations on the production line to produce vanes and perform all quality checks. This position requires shift work and the ability to work overtime when needed. The operator will work on Vanes Grind Line operations, follow work instructions, and demonstrate understanding of quality and production. The role requires broad knowledge of machine shop practices, methods, and techniques, including knowledge of cutting qualities of metal, machining, fabrication, and tooling. The operator will work from drawings and sketches, use advanced shop mathematics, and a variety of precision measuring instruments, including decimals and fractions. Knowledge of machining methods is required.

Requirements

High School Diploma / GED
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification
