About The Position

This is an AWW2 position: Friday - Sunday 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM. The Machine Operator 1 will be responsible for operating a variety of production machines. Training will be provided on the job to become proficient and certified in performing operations in at least 2 auxiliary equipment standard work groups, such as Bake/Grit; PHT; Pinhole Check and Surface Roughness Analyzer. This role involves performing routine operations on the production line to produce blades and/or vanes, and conducting all quality checks. The position requires shift work and the ability to work overtime when needed. Responsibilities include performing daily standard work, executing complex operations successfully, adhering to standard work and all work instructions, clocking labor in Solumina, performing and documenting Daily Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM), and maintaining a clean equipment and work area (5S). The role may also involve carrying out tasks not specifically listed, within the scope and skill level, to support department objectives and skill development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification
