About The Position

The Machine Operator 1 is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the overall product outcome meets customer requirements. This role involves running machines at optimal speeds while maintaining safety and quality standards. The position also requires verifying and communicating product and work standards, participating in continuous improvement activities, and working collaboratively in a team environment with cross-training opportunities. Training will be provided to support career advancement.

Requirements

• Previous machine experience preferred
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Comfortable with computer applications
• Ability to work in teams or alone
• Ability to motivate other team members
• Must be able to Lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand for the entire duration of your shift

Responsibilities

• Operate the machine and leads the overall product outcome associated with machine
• Ensure that product is produced to customer requirements
• Ensure that machines are running at the best possible speed while not sacrificing safety or quality
• Verify and communicates both product standards and work standards to execute production
• Participate in Continuous Improvement activities that improve the work centers performance
• Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
• Receive training to help advance your career
