About The Position

Milwaukee Electronics is seeking a Machine Operator to join their production team. This hands-on role is crucial for the smooth operation of their electronics manufacturing processes. The operator will work with various production equipment, including SMT Pick & Place machines, Through-Hole Insertion, Sequencers, Wave Solder, and Reflow systems. The role involves adjusting settings and identifying potential issues to ensure the production of high-quality products. The position offers a unique 3-night work schedule (Monday - Wednesday, 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM), providing a 4-day weekend every week. This schedule includes overtime pay for hours exceeding 10 in a day and a 10% shift differential for night hours, maximizing earning potential and work-life balance.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Basic data entry and computer skills
  • Ability to read and follow English instructions and safety documentation
  • Basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
  • Ability to interpret performance graphs
  • Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent resident, or individual granted asylum/refugee status in the U.S.) or otherwise satisfy ITAR compliance requirements.

  • 3–6 months of manufacturing or related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Read job specifications and set up machines accordingly
  • Operate production equipment with attention to quality and efficiency
  • Use computer programs to access and follow assembly instructions
  • Monitor machines to detect defects or malfunctions and correct or route as needed
  • Perform minor machine maintenance per documented instructions
  • Support continuous improvement and Lean initiatives
  • Collaborate with team members and contribute to problem-solving
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
