About The Position

Apply metal to customer orders and accurately process material according to the work order specifications. Ensure that processing equipment is maintained in a safe and clean condition. Maintain processing area in a clean, safe and orderly manner. Complete all required information entry accurately. Perform any other tasks as assigned. Manual cell machines include: Drill, Tap, deburr, heat shrink application, bandsaw cutting, shearing, PEM/Hardware installation, manual hole punching. Parts are setup manually (no CNC). Setup: Preparing the machine by loading tools specific to the job requirements. Operation: Monitoring and operating the machine in copper & aluminum bar, ensuring quality standards are met. Quality Control: Inspecting finished parts for accuracy and adherence to specifications, making adjustments as needed. Basic blueprint reading, first-off inspections and in-process inspections. Main tools needed are tape measure and calipers, go/no-go inspection tools. Maintenance: Performing routine basic maintenance check on the machine to keep it in good working order, including cleaning and lubricating parts, reporting issues immediately to the supervisor. Technical Skills: Understanding of machining processes, blueprints, and technical drawings. Attention to Detail: Ability to spot errors and ensure high-quality production standards. Safety: Following safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). This includes: Safety glasses, High visibility vest, Hard hat, Safety shoes with metatarsal guarding, Gloves (cut resistant, cotton, nitrile), Sleeves (cut resistant) The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirement for the performance of this job. Requirements

High school diploma/ GED
Ability to read and write
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs
Perform basic math skills
Safety Mindset
Basic blueprint reading
First-off inspections and in-process inspections.
Use of tape measure and calipers, go/no-go inspection tools.
Understanding of machining processes, blueprints, and technical drawings.
Ability to spot errors and ensure high-quality production standards.

Previous forklift experience
