About The Position

Essity is a global leader in health and hygiene. This role involves operating and supporting a fast-paced production line, machine, or palletizer to create high-quality hygiene products. The Machine Operator will follow clear specifications and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure the line runs smoothly and efficiently, playing a hands-on role in driving machine performance and delivering results as part of a shift team.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Entry-level experience - 0-1 year of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, or no prior experience but a willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of equipment.
Exposure to operating basic machinery, handling tools, or performing simple tasks on a production line is beneficial.
Basic math/literacy.
Computer basics.
Problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Operate and support a fast-paced production line, machine, or palletizer.
Follow clear specifications and SOPs.
Keep the line running smoothly and efficiently.
Drive strong machine performance and deliver great results.
Ensure a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.
Work within Essity safety standards with a responsibility for others.
Run the machine and watch the process, adjusting as necessary according to Essity Continuous Improvement Systems.
Consult with Team Leader or skilled operators if required.
Order and prepare raw materials or products for palletizing and install them on the machine according to SOPs.
Maintain adequate communication with previous and next shift as well as with other persons involved in running the machine.
Maintain an optimal housekeeping situation.
Support others in operating activities.
Secure the quality level of the products by regular checking against the product specification, rejecting or blocking if necessary.
Complete all required documentation and data files during production.
