About The Position

Machine Helpers assist operators in the Corrugating Department. Work may include setting up, operating, and maintaining equipment; inspecting finished products; and performing general cleanup. The department turns recycled paper into corrugated boxes for customer shipments. The position is based at Pratt (Beloit Corrugating), LLC, 1405 Gateway Blvd, Beloit, Wisconsin, and is listed for the third shift. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour plus shift differential. Employees are eligible for pay increases after 90 days and six months, based on performance and attendance.

Requirements

Able to read and follow instructions and communicate effectively.
Able to read a tape measure with speed and accuracy and apply concepts of high school math.
Able to use common-sense understanding to carry out instructions provided in written, oral, or graphic form.
Able to regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds with assistance from another worker.
Able to perform the physical activities described, including standing, walking, handling items, reaching, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
